Located at the popular Shichirigahama Beach, the Kamakura Prince Hotel features outdoor swimming pool (The 2024 summer pool season has ended), rooms with panoramic ocean views. Free WiFi is available in the lobby, lounge, banquet hall Shichirigahama and all guest rooms.

Bright rooms feature floor-to-ceiling windows, flat-screen TVs, and seating areas. They are equipped with an air purifier/humidifier, refrigerator, and one-piece nightwear (for both men and women). A variety of toiletries (one time use) are provided in the bathroom (no razors).

Le Trianon Restaurant serves a American breakfast, as well as French cuisine for lunch and dinner, with beautiful ocean views in the background. Restaurant Onzoshi Kiyoyasutei features Japanese cuisine, including teppanyaki iron grill and Kamakura soba noodles. Light meals, sweets, and drinks can be enjoyed at Lounge Ajisai.

Hotel Kamakura Prince is a 5-minute drive from Enoshima Island, the Kamakura Daibutsu Buddha Statue and Hasedera Temple. From Enoden Shichirigahama Station, walk to Banquet Hall Shichirigahama and take the building's diagonal elevator to the hotel building. Nice.

Great location, you can see the Fuji Mountain from the room window and the rooftop garden. The breakfast restaurant has a nice view as well, peaceful atmosphere. Bed and bathroom are comfortable. There is a big supermarket and some restaurants 5 mins walk away. !!Parking is 1000 yen a day!!

Some staff’s English is not good enough.

Nice hotel - aircon needs updating

Really well kept - nice pool area - large rooms bed very comfortable

Aircon was pretty bad - really struggled to work - it was c hot outside 33/34 but the aircon in room was pretty useless - so very hot in rooms and corridors

Comfortable Stay with a Stunning View of Enoshima & Mt. Fuji

The scenic of view of Enoshima & Mt. Fuji is as per promised from the booking. We're lucky to stay on a good weather, the view of Enoshima & Mt. Fuji is very stuning !

Facility is a little bit old, but still very pleasant stay ! Free shuttle bus and just 7 mins walk from station.

Dated but clean and comfortable

Nice view and location near ocean.

Pool closed in June. No outdoor seating around pool. Extra charge for pool use. Don’t feature pool prominently in promotions if it is not available.

What was the highlight of Kamakura Prince Hotel

Seeing and capturing photos of Mt Fuji was great, however we would not stay here again.

It was recommended that we stay at Kamakura Prince if we wanted a good view of Mt Fuji. We were very fortunate to have a great view of Mt Fuji at sunset on the day we checked in. The staff was very cordial and helpful, the breakfast was okay, and housekeeping seemed to do the best they could with this property.

It is obvious that this hotel is very old, and that major repairs and renovations are not in their plans. The bathroom was so old and you could see MOLD in the rough grout. The metal overhead vanity light fixture showed a lot of RUST (there was no ventilation in the bathroom). It was not pleasant. Prior to Kamakura Prince, we stayed at three other hotels (Tokyo, Kanazawa, and Kyoto). Unfortunately, Kamakura Prince was the most expensive hotel, but the least desirable.

Good

The view in the room was amazing. You could see the coast line with the Enoshima island and Mount Fuji in the background. One morning we woke up and it was perfectly clear and there was fresh snow on Mount Fuji. I was breathtaking.

The pool was closed even though the weather was very warm. The Sunday brunch was mediocre but very expensive.

Excellent beachside hotel

This was a very nice hotel and the view of Enoshima (and, briefly, Mount Fuji) was breathtaking. The staff was great and I enjoyed a pretty reasonably priced meal at the on-site Japanese restaurant.

There's a elevator that connect the hotel lobby to an event space down a very steep hill. It would've been nice to know that before I hiked up the hill to check in.

One of best location in Kamakura. We enjoyed the view from the window to see Mt Fuji and Enoshima coast line.

The building is a bit dated, specially the bathroom.

Fantastic comfortable hotel,up on the hilltop.

Like the facing of the room that has great view of Mt Fuji & the beach . The staff are great & friendly. There's a half hourly hotel shuttle bus to nearest train station.

Beautiful scenery

Great view of Mt. Fuji. Unlike Japanese business hotels, Kamakura Prince has large rooms all facing the sea scape.

There was a shower cap of the previous guests left on a towel hook which was little eerie.

The sea view.

The hotel was a little dated. We got a room with a tree blocking the view of Mount Fuji. We walked from the station up a steep hill. It would have been nice to be told how to use the back entrance and the lift before our arrival.

Slightly out of the way, but great rooms with a nice view

A great quality hotel, very well kept, with lovely view.

Just a bit of a walk from the train (12 minutes) making it more challenging with luggage: if your weather is good, that's no problem. The restaurant closed early by an hour from the posted time, and as we arrived late in the evening we could only buy from their hotel store, and that didn't go well. I suppose weekends the restaurant is open longer, but weekdays if they don't have enough customers...
